本文在总结我国通航河流建港前后河床演变规律的基础上,拟制了一个河型分类。然后根据各类型河流的河床演变特点提出了各自的港址选择原则。本文所建议的港址选择原则已于1978年纳入交通部的《港口工程技术规范》刊行。
Abstract：Based upon a wide study of the fluvial processes on harbors and inland waterways over the nation, a classification of river patterns is formulated and guidelines for the selection of harbor-site corresponding to the various river pattern are also presented. These guidelines for choice of harbor-site were published as a part of "Technical Specifications for Harbor Design" by the Ministry of Communication of The People's Republic of China.
